I was answering a friends poem on Facebook with one of my own. I know its not the best so bear with it since I did it spur of the moment~
Alone?
Awaiting the light of day,
Looking east,
Awaiting the ray of dawn.
A wind stirs the grasses,
I feel it in my heart and soul,
I see flowers blooming,
I hear birds chirping.
He who stand by my side,
He who watches over me,
He who answers my cries.
In grief or joy,
In despair or happiness,
In the dark or the light,
He is always there.
In faith I know,
In knowledge I understand,
In Him I believe.
Alone?
We are never alone
